RSCN – Age-IT Joint Webinar for Social Prescribing Day 2026

Social Prescribing Day 2026: RSCN and Age-IT host webinar on community-based health interventions

The Reference Site Collaborative Network (RSCN), in collaboration with the Age-IT Community, is organising a webinar in the framework of Social Prescribing Day 2026, taking place on 30 March 2026.

The session, titled “Social prescribing: an opportunity to improve health outcomes sustainably through social interventions,” will explore how community-based approaches such as arts, nature, physical activity and social engagement can contribute to improving health outcomes and supporting healthy ageing. Social prescribing is gaining increasing attention across Europe as an effective way to address the social, cultural and economic determinants of health, although its implementation remains fragmented and requires stronger coordination and scaling strategies.

The webinar will bring together experts and stakeholders to present emerging good practices, discuss tools for monitoring health outcomes in older adults, and explore key enabling factors to support implementation and scale-up. The session will also include a round table discussion with contributions from key stakeholders across Europe.

Date: 30 March 2026

Time: 14:00–15:30 CET
