The FVG Region is member of the WHO European Regions for Health (RHN) network, a network of 41 regions belonging to 28 countries within the European region of the World Health Organization (WHO), formed in 1993 in response to the need of different regions to encourage the improvement of the health of their citizens. The FVG region is also member of the Programma Mattone Internazionale Salute (Promis), a network that includes many Italian regions as reference sites, including their liaison offices in Brussels. The program is particularly present in various European projects and the FVG Region takes an active part in its initiatives. The FVG Region is also member and involved in various European networks such as ERRIN, Euregha, CORAL.
