As part of its engagement plans with AHA(L) Reference Site regions and Thematic Working Groups the RSCN Executive Board has organised a webinar on 13th July at 10:30 to 12:30 cet to share ongoing activities, commence a discussion on the renewal of the RSCN Strategy and Action Plan 2024 – 2027, and consider the synergies between Reference Site regions and the RSCN Thematic Working Groups.

The webinar was interactive, and the Executive Board will be interested in hearing the views from Reference Site regions and Thematic Working Groups on the activities and areas of work the RSCN should focus on that will facilitate and support their development, and in enlarging the RSCN network. The event also provides an opportunity to highlight the recent evolution of the WHO Council plan that reoriented economies to deliver health for all across four interrelated themes:

  • Value – valuing and measuring what matters through new economic metrics;
  • Finance – how to finance health for all as a long-term investment, not a short-term cost;
  • Innovation – how to advance health innovation for the common good;
  • Capacity – how to strengthen dynamic public sector capacity to achieve health for all.
