The Region of Southern Denmark has hosted several network events:
- Regional Artificial Intelligence Network (RAIN)
- Network for mobile robotics
- A dedicated hybrid workshop on international AI funding
- European Connected Health Alliance (ECHA) e.g. in the thematic Digital Skills area
- Hospital Automation Summit in collaboration with DLSC, Technological Institute etc.
The South Denmark European Offices organises 3 yearly meetings in the “South Danish Healthy Network” with the objective to inform about European funding opportunities and disseminate knowledge and results from regional and European health innovation projects.
Since 2020, The largest university hospital, has organised 17 online events called “Virtual watering holes” covering different themes e.g. experiences with virtual reality in both somatic and psychiatric care. CIMT has also set up a XR network focusing on extended reality solutions aimed at patients and/or staff in the hospital.
The annual Festival of Research at the University of Southern Denmark opens up to civil society to learn about the latest inventions and research in e.g. health and technology.
Danish Life Science Cluster hosts a number of events e.g. Digital solutions in mental health, Green Conversion, and Implementation of digital solutions in healthcare.
The stakeholders continue to be engaged in the annual Week of Health and Innovation (WHINN) and in May 2022, the Region co-organised the International Conference of Integrated Care.
